The one the bride secretly wants

Beyoncé Hen Party Dance Class NewcastleOne ring, one routine, one fee.

There is a reason every left hand in the room goes up the second that bassline starts. A Beyoncé hen party dance class gives your group the two things it actually came for: a chorus everybody already knows word for word, and choreography sharp enough to look genuinely impressive on camera. Your teacher works out which era suits the room on the day, drills it in bite-sized pieces, and puts the bride wherever she asks to be. Three central rooms we hire, or your hen house anywhere across the North East. The ninety-minute session is £170 and the hour is £145, with just the venue’s hire cost added on — and no experience is needed, only a group willing to count out loud.

Dates, numbers, figures

Say the word.

Send the date and roughly how many of you there are — that is genuinely enough to start. You will hear back within the day with availability, a room recommendation from the three we hire, and the two figures in writing: what we charge to teach, and what the room charges to hire. Committee deadlocked? Book the date as undecided and settle the music whenever you like.

Why the vote lands here

Sharp enough to post.

Most of the hen party ideas on a shortlist are about the laugh. This one is about the laugh and the footage. Beyoncé choreography has hard edges — a wrist that snaps on the count, a head turn that lands together, a stomp everyone hits at once — and when fourteen people find the same edge at the same moment, the video is genuinely worth sending to whoever could not make it up. That is what separates a Beyoncé hen do dance class from a general boogie in a function room: your teacher drills small, exact fragments until the group owns them, then stitches them into a dance hen party number that belongs to your lot and nobody else. It stays achievable, too, because the sharpness comes from everybody doing a simple thing at the same time rather than anyone doing something difficult. Of the hen party activities on offer in the Toon, few lift a room this far in ninety minutes.

IPrecision beats stamina. The look comes from timing together, not from anyone in the group being especially fit.

IIIOutfits are your department.Bodysuits, heels, matching sashes: source them yourselves, because we hold no wardrobe.

Twelve of us and not one had danced since school. The video ended up on the screen at the wedding — my brother-in-law still cannot believe we learned it in an afternoon.

The bride asked to be at the back and the teacher just made that work without making a thing of it. Howay, that mattered to us far more than we expected it to.

We booked it as the daft bit of the weekend and it turned into the bit everyone talks about. She read the room in about four minutes flat.

Beyoncé, interrogated.

eight questions, answered properly ↓

Which Beyoncé songs will we actually dance to?+

Picked once your teacher has seen the group, never pledged weeks beforehand. She arrives with the whole back catalogue and chooses in front of you — Single Ladies and Crazy in Love come up most, Run the World when the energy is high. Shout requests on the day and they will usually make it in.

Is Single Ladies too hard for beginners?+

No, because it gets taught in fragments. The famous hand roll is broken into three separate moves, drilled slowly, then put back together at speed. Groups who have never taken a class in their lives are doing a recognisable version of it well inside the first half hour.

What are the two figures we would be paying?+

The ninety-minute class is £170 and the hour is £145 for the entire group, plus the hire cost of whichever venue you choose, written into your quote up front. Hold it at your own hen house and the venue side is zero. There is no per-person maths anywhere on this page.

Do we need heels, bodysuits or matching outfits?+

Only if you want them, and if you do they come from your own group — no wardrobe, sashes or accessories are stocked or lent by us. Trainers are honestly the sensible choice for learning; plenty of parties change into heels for the filmed run at the end.

Can twenty of us fit into one room?+

Comfortably, yes. All three rooms we hire take a party of that size doing wide arm work, and your quote will steer you to whichever suits your numbers best. Beyond about twenty-four we would talk to you about splitting the choreography into two lines.

Will the bride have to be at the front?+

Never by default. Some brides want the centre and get it; others quietly ask for the second row and get that instead, with no announcement made about it. Tell us in the form and the teacher will have it sorted before anybody arrives.

Where does this fit in a Saturday itinerary?+

Late afternoon is the classic slot — class, quick change, photographs by the Tyne, then out onto the Diamond Strip. The Newgate Street and Neville Street rooms are both minutes from the bars, so nobody is trailing across town in heels.

What if we swap themes closer to the date?+

That is fine and free. Your booking secures the date and the room; the music is the flexible part, right up to roughly a week beforehand. Plenty of groups arrive having changed their minds twice.

If somebody else wins the poll.
